Heather Lynch IACS' First Endowed Chair

IACS is delighted to announce the appointment of Professor Heather Lynch to the IACS Endowed Chair in Ecology and Evolution. Heather is greatly deserving of this recognition as the first of several new endowed chairs/professorships for which IACS is presently actively recruiting. Heather received this award because of the scale and scope of her academic accomplishments, the public visibility of her work, her level of engagement with IACS and the energy she invests in IACS, her expectations of herself and others, her support of student growth and development, and her clarity of vision. She is clearly a star in her field and she has truly transformed the institute.
