Jhpiego Rwanda is seeking a Program Manager who will work as part of the Jhpiego Rwanda Senior Management Team
to continuously review and monitor the full portfolio of projects under the Rwanda Country Office, including COVID-19, maternal,
new born child health, and malaria among other programs. The Program Manager will ensure that project activities are planned
effectively and implemented in accordance with agreed upon work plans and budgets. They will work closely with the Project Leads
to develop innovative strategies to incorporate in annual work plans and detailed implementation activity plans with a focus
on developing project plans that are evidence based and in line with technical approaches, best practices, and available resources
In collaboration with USAID RISE Project, Jhpiego supports the Government of Rwanda to prevent,
and respond to COVID-19. Rwanda aims to contain the COVID-19 pandemic, mitigate its impact on the population,
and enhance resilient health systems. The primary responsibility of the Biomedical Engineer is to
provide technical assistance in the areas of bioengineering and oxygen management capacity at
the national facility levels. The position will operate under the leadership of the
USAID RISE Technical Director. In collaboration with the project team, the Biomedical
Engineer will support the maintenance and implementation of the oxygen ecosystem management.
The primary responsibility of the Procurement and Logistics Assistant is
o provide assistance to Operations Manager in managing all operational activities related to procurement,
and fleet of Motorcycles including Jhpiego and other car services. This position partially requires
performing procurement and Logistics duties and ensuring the rational management of procurement
processes and supply base effectively, obtaining goods & services in response to internal needs and
in accordance with Jhpiego Procurement Manual
Case Management & Vaccine delivery Technical Coordinator
The Technical Coordinator will provide technical support to USAID/RISE COVID-19 project.
In Rwanda, Jhpiego will support the Government to prevent, and respond to COVID-19.
A significant area of focus of this work is accelerating and strengthening the technical and operational
capacity of community health care workers, district hospital healthcare workers to provide
vaccines service delivery and to ensure quality case management at home based care and facility levels
The Communication and Liaison Specialist will act as an integral part of Jhpiego Rwanda’s
team and Ministry of Health (MoH). He/She will provide Technical Assistance to Rwanda Health Communication Center
Team and MOH Team with focus in communication and documentation of health events and COVID-19 responses activities.
The Communication and Liaison Specialist will ensure a smooth communication between MOH, USAID and RISE Projects according
to MOH, USAID and Jhpiego policies. She/he will ensure high quality strategic
communication to MOH partners, stakeholders and beneficiaries.
