Welcome to HKFC Golf Society.

Our aim is to provide our members with opportunities to play social and representative golf, as well as assistance in locating golf courses, equipment, and coaching.  The Society also operates a Reciprocal Membership system with both Macau Golf and Country Club, and Lotus Hill Golf Resort, which allows members of the Golf Society to play at these courses for free.  The Golf Society also owns numerous sets of golf clubs which are located at both of these courses which members can use for a nominal fee.

Joining the Golf Society

To join the Society, please download  your application form here and submit it to the HKFC reception desk.  Application forms are also available there.  Membership is only open to members of the HKFC.

Obtaining a Handicap

To compete in HKFC Golf Society events, and virtually all golf events in Hong Kong, you require a golf handicap.  In Hong Kong the simplest way to do this is to obtain a World Handicap Card.  To do this,  click the World Golf Handicap button below which will take you to the relevant HKGA web page.  There is an online and offline method of applying.  You should apply as a “Society Member” and your society is “HKFC Golf Society”.  If you apply offline you can hand in your form to the HKFC reception to handle.  To complete the application you will need the scorecards from a minimum of 3 eighteen hole rounds or 6 nine hole rounds.  This process will also create a unique “GHIN” number for you which will identify you for all handicap purposes.  “GHIN” is the Golf Handicap and Information Network, a handicap management service provided by the USGA  to golf associations worldwide.
