2022-23: Reached the podium at the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championship with a runner-up finish at 197 pounds ... ended the season 27-3 overall and recorded his second undefeated dual season with a 14-0 record ... 18 of his 27 victories were bonus-point wins as he won six by fall, two by technical fall, eight by major decision and one by forfeit ... in addition, posted a 13-3 record against ranked opponents ... placed third at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational with a 6-1 record over two days (12/2-3) ... won 20 consecutive matches until suffering a 2-1, tiebreaker loss to Missouri's Rocky Elam in the finals of the Big 12 Wrestling Championship (3/4-5) ... at the NCAA Championships, secured All-America status with a 6-4 sudden victory over No. 2 Bernie Truax (Cal Poly) (3/17) ... avenged earlier postseason loss to Elam with a 7-2 decision in the national semifinals (3/17) ... scored first, but dropped a 5-3 decision to top-ranked Nino Bonaccorsi of Pittsburgh in the finals (3/18)

2021-22: Earned his third consecutive trip to the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships at 197 pounds... had the start of his season delayed while recovering from injury, but hit his stride after the start of the calendar year ... placed fourth at the Southern Scuffle with a 4-2 record over two days (1/1-2) ... then reeled off 15 consecutive wins, including 11 in dual competition ... during his 15-match winning streak, seven wins were by fall ... avenged loss at the Southern Scuffle to fifth-ranked Rocky Elam of Missouri three weeks later in dual action, winning a 5-2 decision that helped the Jackrabbits secure a victory over the ninth-ranked Tigers (1/22) ... added two first-period falls a day later against SIU Edwardsville and Central Michigan to secure Big 12 Conference Wrestler of the Week honors (1/23) ... reached the finals of the Big 12 Wrestling Championship, dropping a 3-2 decision to top-seeded Stephen Buchanan of Wyoming to snap his 15-match winning streak (3/5-6) ... turned in a 1-2 record at nationals, suffering a pair of overtime losses ... earned a spot on the U.S. World Team by winning the 97-kilogram title in the senior freestyle division at the UWW World Team Trials

2020-21: Qualified for nationals for the second time ... maintained national ranking for entirety of season and went undefeated in dual action at 11-0 ... won first 14 matches of the season, including seven victories by technical fall and three by fall ... won all three matches at Air Force Dual/Air Force Multi (1/17) via technical fall by a combined 54-6 ... placed sixth at the Big 12 Wrestling Championship (3/6-7) ... notched a 3-2 record at the NCAA Division I Championships, starting with a 4-2 decision over North Carolina's Max Shawn (3/18-19)

2019-20: Was nationally ranked throughout the season at 197 pounds and was recognized as an All-American by the National Wrestling Coaches Association after NCAA Championships were canceled ... tied for third on team in victories after compiling a 21-6 overall record, including a 13-3 mark in duals ... earned bonus points in 14 matches, winning eight by major decision, two by technical fall and four by pin ... recorded a second-period pin over Nunzio Crowley of Binghamton in first dual action as a Jackrabbit (11/15) ... won 197-pound title at Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open (11/17) ... closed the regular season by winning 12 of his last 13 matches, with his lone loss via injury default in dual at Oklahoma State (1/31) ... named Big 12 Conference Wrestler of the Week after a pair of dual wins, including a 7-2 decision over nationally ranked Nathan Traxler of Stanford (2/16) ... earned berth in national meet after recording a runner-up finish at the Big 12 Wrestling Championship (3/7-8) ... won each of his first three Big 12 tournament matches by major decision, outscoring his opponents by a combined 28-1

2018-19: Made a big impression on the mat during his first season at South Dakota State … redshirted … notched a 24-2 record in open tournaments … kicked off collegiate competition by recording a runner-up finish in the 197-pound division at the Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open (11/4) … claimed titles in succession at the Bison Open (11/10), Buena Vista Open (12/1) and UNI Open (12/8), going a combined 11-0 … ran winning streak to 15 matches with victories in first four matches at the Midlands Championships en route to reaching the finals (12/29-30) … knocked off four seeded wrestlers, including posting a 19-3 technical fall victory over second-seeded and fourth-ranked Jacob Warner of Iowa in the quarterfinals … dropped a 13-4 major decision to Patrick Brucki of Princeton in the Midlands championship match … wrapped up season with back-to-back titles at Ridgewater (1/12) and Sioux City Edmonds (2/2) opens, winning a combined five of six matches by fall … also competed in national and international freestyle competitions following the season … earned a spot on Team USA for Junior World Championships in Tallinn, Estonia, by winning the United World Wrestling World Team Trials … also earned gold at UWW Pan American Championships in Guatemala City, Guatemala
