Biography

2023: Served as both a starter and reliever during freshman season … totaled 16 appearances with six starts … allowed one run over 2 2/3 innings of relief in collegiate debut, at Little Rock (2/19) … moved into a starting role in March and recorded back-to-back quality starts at Minnesota (3/8) and Lindenwood (3/14) … in return to home state, limited Minnesota to one earned run and struck out four over 6 2/3 innings in finishing with a no-decision … held Lindenwood to only one hit and two runs over 6 1/3 frames … tossed two shutout innings of release against Dakota Wesleyan (4/12) … fanned five batters and did not surrender an earned run over 2 2/3 innings versus Northwestern (Iowa) (4/18) … came out of the bullpen to limit Oral Roberts to one run over three innings (4/28)

BEFORE SDSU: Earned all-state honors as both a junior and senior at Belle Plaine High School ... posted a 0.20 ERA his junior season while being selected as the conference pitcher of the year ... helped lead Belle Plaine to the Class AA state championship game as a junior after striking out 17 batters in a 2-0 shutout in the quarterfinals ... selected to compete in the 2022 Play Ball! Minnesota All-Star Series for the Metro South squad after going 6-2 with 113 strikeouts against 19 walks in 54 2/3 innings pitched ... also batted .347 with a team-best 23 runs batted in during his senior season ... first-team all-league selection in basketball and also played football
