2021-22: Played in 35 games and made 14 starts … averaged 15 minutes per game and led the squad with a 61.5% clip from the field … was 80% at the free throw line and averaged 5.5 points, 2.7 rebounds and tied for the team lead with 21 blocks … had six double-digit scoring efforts with a season-high 25 points (11-13 FG) in a Jan. 13 win at Omaha … Snagged nine rebounds at Western Illinois on Jan. 22 … named to the Summit League’s All-Academic Team for third straight season … was a CoSIDA all-district choice and was selected as a Division I Academic All-American for the second consecutive year … picked to the Second Team with his 3.99 cumulative GPA as a graduate student in engineering ... a member of the 2021-22 Summit League Academic Honor Roll, Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence and NABC Honors Court.
2020-21: One of three Jackrabbits to start all 23 games … averaged 10.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists while playing 25.1 minutes per game … ranked third in the league in total blocks (22), averaging nearly a block per game (.96), the second-best mark in the conference … shot 63.7 percent from the floor, tied for the best on the team among players with at least 100 attempts, and 68 percent during Summit League play … fourth on the team in scoring and rebounding … made a career-high eight free throws against Kansas City … registered 12 double figure outings, including three 21-point outbursts … finished the year with nine consecutive games in double figures … secured a season-high eight rebounds at North Dakota State (12/10).
2019-20: One of two Jackrabbits to start all 32 games … played 27.8 minutes per game in the post and shot a league-best 69.7 percent in Summit League play … averaged 12.2 points, six rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 blocks per game for the season … posted five double-doubles … scored 10 or more in 18 games and tallied three 20-plus scoring games … pulled down five or more rebounds in 22 games …dished three or more assists out of the paint on 13 occasions … had 17 points and 14 rebounds in season-opener against UT Rio Grande Valley (11/5) … scored 17 with 11 rebounds against North Alabama (11/19) … finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds against Idaho (12/21) … two league double-doubles came against Denver (2/14) and Purdue Fort Wayne (2/16) in back-to-back games, scoring 22 and 18 with 11 and 10 rebounds, respectively … swatted career-best five blocks against Purdue Fort Wayne (2/16) … hit 8-of-8 field goals against Mississippi Valley State (11/24) and Purdue Fort Wayne (2/16) … buried 13 consecutive field goals between the Arizona, MVSU and Samford contests (11/21 to 11/27).
2018-19: Started seven games and appeared in 32 contests … averaged 2.8 points and 2.7 rebounds in 12.1 minutes per game … shot 56.3 percent from the field and hit 18-of-25 at the charity stripe … had 43 offensive rebounds and 44 on the defensive end … scored 90 total points, dished 12 assists and had six steals and blocks … scored 11 points with seven rebounds in collegiate debut, starting and playing 36 minutes against Grand Canyon (11/6) … backed up first career start with another strong appearance, pulling down 10 points with seven rebounds over 28 minutes against Alabama State (11/8) … just missed a double-double against Bemidji State (11/10), going 4-of-5 from the field for nine points alongside nine boards … started against Nevada (12/15) and played 29 minutes, pulling down six rebounds to go with two assists ... appeared in 15 Summit League games, averaging 1.7 points and 1.8 boards off the bench.
2017-18: Did not play … redshirted.
BEFORE SDSU: Graduated in May 2017 from Kuemper Catholic High School (Carroll, Iowa) … four-year letterwinner in basketball with three letters in tennis … also played football in high school … left high school as the program's career record holder in points (1,311), rebounds (754) and blocks (239) ... senior honors included First Team All-State and First Team All-Conference selections alongside an Academic All-State team nod ... in 2016-17 averaged 19.3 points, 12.4 rebounds, 3.4 blocks and 2.2 assists per game while leading his team to a third place finish in the Class 2-A state tournament ... named First Team All-State by Iowa Newspaper Association and Des Moines Register as a junior … a two-time All-Region and All-Conference selection for 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons … as a junior led the conference (Hawkeye Ten) in blocks per game (2.88) while ranking third in scoring and rebounding, posting averages of 18.4 and 10.7 per game, respectively … team reached Class 2-A state tournament in 2016 … National Honors Society member … a four-year academic honor roll member while ranking in the school's top ten list four years … named student council president for 2016-17 school year … played AAU ball with Martin Bros.
