HONORS AND AWARDS
  • Academic All-Big 12 Wrestling Second Team (2020-21, 2021-22)
2021-22: Saw limited action at 157 and 165 pounds ... went 0-5 on the season with appearances at the Bison Open (11/13) and Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open (11/21) ... also wrestled an extra match as part of season-opening dual against Augustana (11/19)

2020-21: Competed in the final two events of the season, going a combined 0-3 at the SDSU Triangular (2/13) and Last Chance Challenge (2/20)

2019-20: Added depth at 157 pounds, recording an 11-10 record in open tournaments ... posted 2-2 record at season-opening Bison Open (11/9) ... turned in a strong second half of the season, starting with a stretch in which he won eight of nine matches at the beginning of the calendar year ... won three matches by decision to claim the title at the Ridgewater Open (1/11), followed by winning five of six matches with two pins en route to a third-place finish at the Dave Edmonds Sioux City Open (2/1)

2018-19: Redshirted, but competed in open tournaments during first collegiate season ... recorded a 9-12 mark that included a 3-2 mark at the Buena Vista Open (12/1) ... also turned in 2-2 records at the Bison Open (11/10), North Country Open (1/26) and season-ending Sioux City Edmonds Open (2/2) ... record three wins by major decision and two by fall

BEFORE SDSU: Competed both at the state and national level … placed seventh in the 132-pound division at the 2017 California Interscholastic Federation state tournament for Foothill High School … in other competition, finished as runner-up at Preseason Nationals and earned All-America honors with a third-place finish at the Reno Tournament of Champions … majoring in civil engineering
