Commencement Volunteer Registration

Welcome and thank you for your interest in volunteering for Commencement at Emory University. You are continuing a great tradition of service to the graduating class, their family, and friends that is greatly appreciated and critical to the success of the day. As a bonus, all Commencement Volunteers who serve a full shift will be entered in a drawing for a $50 gift card!

"Chair Rodeo"
Wednesday May 8 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Set up chairs on the Quadrangle (view video). Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Lunch provided.
Commencement Day Guest Relations -- CRITICAL NEED
Monday, May 13 from 6:00 a.m. until noon or 2:00 p.m. (depending on role)
Welcome and assist the graduates and their families as an usher, wayfinder, beverage/ program distribution, etc. Breakfast (5:30 to 6:00 a.m.) and lunch provided for all volunteers.
Quadrangle Clean Up
Monday, May 13 after the College Ceremony (approximately 1:30 until 4:30 p.m.)
Assist with the cleanup of the Quadrangle and stacking of chairs. Light refreshments provided.

If you are only interested in volunteering for a school diploma ceremony, please contact your school's Commencement Coordinator.

Have you ever volunteered on Commencement Day (usher, programs, Coca-Cola distribution, etc.) before? If you have only assisted in chair setup in the past, select no.
