Welcome to the Heritage League of Lincoln’s new website

And our 48th Annual Holiday of Trees!
Ordinarily we would be hosting beautifully decorated trees at Westminster Church…and you, our guests, would be oohing and aahing over each amazing and uniquely adorned tree; finding a special little something at Attic Treasures; having a sloppy joe and piece of pie; and taking home a plate of home baked cookies.

But, things are so very different right now, in the midst of this dangerous pandemic. Still, we simply couldn’t imagine abandoning one of Lincoln’s longtime traditions this year – the Holiday of Trees. So our club did what each of us have been doing every day since last March – we adjusted…and got creative!

We decided to take the Holiday of Trees virtual…and our tree decorators were all in! As with everything this year, it’s been a bit of a challenge as we modified and transformed our live event into a video. But we are very pleased with the outcome…and hope you enjoy it as well.

Please click on the green Holiday of Trees button on the menu bar above to find our tree video and information about our chosen charity – Community Crops.

And we sure do look forward to seeing you all in person at the Holiday of Trees in 2021!

Proceeds for the 2019 Holiday of Trees went to the LMTA Music Outreach Program offered through the Lincoln MusicTeachers Association. The program offers low cost music lessons to “at risk” or needy students. A maximum of 50 students receive lessons in piano, organ, percussion, violin, viola, voice, guitar, woodwinds, theory and composition. Each student must be recommended by an adult who is familiar with the child’s talent and interest. For more information, visit LMTA.info and click on Music Outreach Program.
