Training
Signed up to take a shift? Want to find out more or see what this is all about? Join for one of our two training sessions. We’ll walk through the responsibilities of each job, get you familiar with the locations and introduce you to the staff. We’ll provide snacks, and water. You bring some comfortable shoes.

What film festival volunteers get
Volunteering with the film festival is a great way to help out, build your resume, and meet other artists and filmmakers. Plus:
Volunteers who work 1 shift (either at the Registration table or as an Usher) will receive a t-shirt.
Volunteers who work 2 shifts (either at the Registration table or as an Usher) will receive a t-shirt and 4 individual tickets.
Volunteers who work 3 shifts (either at the Registration table or as an Usher) will receive a t-shirt and 1 VIP-All Access Pass, which includes all films, classes, and the after-parties.

The Waco Independent Film Festival is the capstone event of the Heart of Texas Film Society. We seek to promote independent film throughout Central Texas. We are a tax-exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
