GRAD STUDENT (2022-23 AT CofC)
  • Suffered a bloody eye and knee during the CAA finals.
  • All-CAA first team, finalist for the Lou Henson award.
  • 14 points vs. Northeastern
  • Back-to-back double-digit point games at Drexel and Delaware while making seven field goals in both contests.
  • Nine rebounds vs. Hofstra
  • 15 point and 5 rebound performance at Monmouth.
  • CAA Player of the Week (1/16) after a 18.5 ppg and 4.5 rpg week with wins of UNCW and Elon, including a career-high 6 threes made vs. Elon.
  • 16 points vs. UNCW including a stretch of three straight in the paints buckets to close the gap with the Seahawks.
  • First double-double as a Cougar at North Carolina A&T with 22 points ten rebounds.
  • Career-high four assists in overtime win at Towson

GRAD STUDENT (2021-22 at CofC)
  • Appeared in three games during the 2021-22 campaign, averaging 9.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game at the season-opening Rising Coaches Classic. 
  • The Cougars went 3-0 in games Bolon played in.
  • Scored 15 points on 5-of-12 field goals to lift CofC over Lipscomb, 86-77 (Nov. 12).
  • Chipped in seven points in nine minutes before suffering a foot injury in the Cougars' victory over Loyola (Nov. 13).
  • Was sidelined the remainder of the season with the injury, but received a medical hardship waiver to return for the 2022-23 campaign. 

RS SENIOR (2020-21 at Div. II West Liberty)
  • Tabbed an NCAA D2 All-American for the third year in a row.
  • Earned MEC Player of the Year honors, and Region Player of the Year recognition to add to his hardware.
  • Named Male Athlete of the Year at West Liberty.
  • Averaged a career-best 21.9 points per game and 8.1 boards per game. 
  • Shot 53 percent from the field, 45 percent from 3-point range and 90 percent from the free throw line to complete a 50-40-90 season. 
  • Scored 20+ points 11 times and reached double figures in all 23 games he appeared in.
  • Posted six double-doubles during the shortened campaign.

RS JUNIOR (2019-20 at Div. II West Liberty)
  • Snagged back-to-back NCAA D2 All-American (Basketball Times) honors and NCAA D2 Academic All-American recognition.
  • Also D2CCA All-Atlantic Region honoree, NABC D2 All-Atlantic District, First-Team All-MEC, MEC All-Academic Team.
  • Posted 4-time MEC Player of the Week (11/11, 1/27, 2/24, 3/2).
  • Started all 31 games, averaging 27.0 minutes per game.
  • Scored 575 points (18.5 ppg.) with 269 rebounds (8.7 rpg.).
  • Shot 46 percent (195-426) from the floor, 39 percent (84-216) from the 3-point arc and an MEC-best 87 percent (101-116) from the foul line.
  • Tallied 26 double-figure scoring games, 12 double-figure rebound games, 12 double-doubles, 14 games with 20+ points and five games with 30+ points.
RS SOPHOMORE (2018-19 at Div. II West Liberty)
  • Earned NCAA D2 All-American (Basketball Times) honors and NCAA D2 Academic All-American recognition.
  • Named D2CCA All-Atlantic Region, NABC D2 All-Atlantic District, First-Team All-MEC and to the Atlantic Region All-Tournament Team.
  • Top 10 nationally with WLU sophomore record 106 threes.
  • Started all 33 games, averaging 28.2 minutes per game.
  • Scored 682 points (20.7 ppg.) with 211 rebounds (6.4 rpg.).
  • Shot 46 percent (216-474) from the floor, 41 percent (106-258) from the 3-point arc and 83 percent (144-174) from the foul line.
  • Racked up 29 double-figure scoring games, five double-doubles and 21 games with 20+ points.

RS FRESHMAN (2017-18 at Div. II West Liberty)
  • Named MEC Freshman of the Year, 2nd-team All-MEC and to the MEC All-Academic Team.
  • Led all NCAA D2 freshmen with 93 three-pointers.
  • Finished Top 5 among NCAA D2 freshmen in scoring and 3FGs/Game.
  • Started all 30 games, averaging 25.3 minutes per game.
  • Scored 500 points (16.7 ppg.) with 161 rebounds (5.4 rpg.).
  • Shot 46 percent (169-367) from the floor, 40 percent (93-231) from the 3-point arc and 82 percent (69-84) from the foul line.
  • Posted 25 double-figure scoring games and had nine games with 20+ points.
     
FRESHMAN (2016-17 at Div. II West Liberty)
  • Redshirted, but made the MEC All-Academic Team.
 
HIGH SCHOOL
  • All-Ohio Division II guard, averaging 20.7 points as a senior at Indian Valley HS.
  • Holds Indian Valley's single-game, single-season and career scoring records.
  • Was named All-State, Academic All-State and chosen to play in the North South Ohio All-Star game.
 
PERSONAL
  • Dalton Shepherd Bolon (Bowl-on), son of Tamela and Clifford Bolon.
  • Has one older brother, Dillon.
  • Born on June 8, 1998 in Dover, Ohio, and calls Gnadenhutten, Ohio, home.
  • Hobbies include playing guitar and fishing.
  • Plans to be a physician associate beyond college.
  • Earned his bachelor's degree in Biology at West Liberty in just three years. 
  • Chose CofC over West Virginia, Drexel, Akron, Indiana State and Murray State, among others.
  • Suffered an eye injury that forced vision loss for a year, playing college hoops with an eye patch for an extended time prior to surgeries.
