- GRADUATION PRACTICE. Practice will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 from 8:30-11:30 am. Practice will take place in the gym. Seniors are asked to report to the Cafeteria at BSHS no later than 8:25am on that day. Your presence at practice is MANDATORY if you wish to participate in the ceremony.
- GRADUATION CEREMONY. Bryan Station High School’s ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 2:00pm at Rupp Arena, Downtown Lexington. Students need to report to Rupp Arena at 12:30pm. DOORS WILL BE LOCKED AT 1:45 PM AND NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE IF GRADUATES ARRIVE PAST THAT TIME.
- PARKING- Parking fee is $5.00 on the High Street Lot. Graduates have free parking if they show the attendant their cap and gown. We encourage families to carpool with their graduate for convenience.
- MASK REQUIREMENT: Face masks are mandatory and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
- ENTRY: There will be two separate, marked entrances for graduates and guests. Both entrances can be accessed from High Street, across from the main parking lot. Doors will open for guests at 1:00pm. At that time, families will be invited in to find their assigned seats. Families will not be permitted to enter at 12:30pm with their graduate.
- SECURITY: Patrons may only have one clear bag (no larger than 12"x12"x6") or one small clutch purse, with or without handle or strap (no larger than 4.5"x 6.5") for their personal items. All bags and items will be searched. To avoid additional touch points, patrons are strongly encouraged to leave unnecessary items at home. Diaper bags may exceed this size requirement, please see Guest Services desk for a visual inspection. Please see this flyer for more specific information.
- TICKETS: Due to COVID restrictions and in compliance with District policies for graduation ceremonies, tickets will be required this year. Tickets are no cost for families and each family will be given 4 tickets for graduation. There will be no exception to this. Seniors will receive their 4 graduation tickets at practice and the student will be responsible for distributing them to family members. Children 2 and under DO NOT REQUIRE A TICKET. NO TICKET, NO ENTRY.
- PROGRAMS: Each family will receive 6 hard copies of our graduation program. These will be distributed at graduation practice, with tickets. There will be a digital version of the program available by QR code.
- DRESS CODE: Students will not be allowed to walk if they are not in acceptable attire listed below.

- GRADUATION ADORNMENTS: Graduates will only be permitted to wear school-issued adornments including but not limited to stolls, cords, pins, medallions. Stolls or adornments representing a student’s cultural identity will be allowed. Personalized stolls are not permitted.
- CAP DECORATING: As always, students are encouraged to customize their graduation cap with decorations of their choice, per Principal approval. The deadline to submit requests is the end of the day on Wednesday, May 5, 2021. To submit your design, please go to https://forms.gle/aaw5K5Qv46ySgJyX8. Dr. Kristy Field is the Administrator to contact with any questions or concerns regarding this. Late submissions will not be accepted.
- PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO RECORDINGS: A district photographer will take ceremony pictures. Students will be permitted to remove their face masks, briefly, for one of their pictures.Ceremonies will be livestreamed via our YouTube channel #FCPSKY.
