The 2024 Summer Fun Program will be offered on weekdays, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. from Monday, June 10 through Friday, July 26, 2024 (not including holidays on June 11 and July 4). Summer Plus activities, before and/or after the regular program times, will be offered at various sites. Those locations are indicated in the list of Summer Fun sites below. Children must be six years old before August 1, 2024 and not older than 13 years old by July 28, 2024 to take part in the program. Summer Fun welcomes Junior Leaders, who must be 13 years old before August 1, 2024 and no older than 17 years old by July 28, 2024 to qualify. Separate seasonal classes and activities, commonly referred to as enrichment classes, will be offered at select sites. More information about those programs is included on the bottom of this website. WANT TO WORK AT SUMMER FUN?Each year, the Summer Fun Program employs roughly 500 adults to help develop the program, supervise keiki, and put the “fun” into Summer Fun! These jobs are an excellent way to gain experience in the childcare field, while earning a minimum $15.56 / hour in a dynamic work environment with dozens of program sites around O‘ahu! A variety of positions are available ranging from recreation aides to pool lifeguards and therapeutic assistants.
