Catapult Clubs

Do you want to learn how to program in Scratch with a group of kids your age? Are you interested in creating your own interactive art, stories, and games? Do you want to know how computers work? Do you have questions about Computer Science to ask college students?

If you are a 4th or 5th grader, we invite you to join us on-line each week to learn about computation and programming in Scratch. All classes are free and led by UW-Madison Computer Science students.

The CaTaPuLT clubs are hosted by students who are enrolled in a 2-credit service-learning course, CS 402 (Introducing CS to K-12 Students), which is offered each semester in the Department of Computer Sciences.

Morgridge Center

Thanks to the Morgridge Center for supporting service-learning courses at UW-Madison. CaTaPuLT is especially thankful to the Morgridge Center for providing transportation to sites that are further than 30 minutes from the UW Campus and the help of a Community-based Learning Fellow!
